Officer’s Row Mansions
The mansions boasts of the opulence of the Victorian era. The interior features exquisite details on the beams and extravagant woodwork on the crown moldings – its stained glass windows illuminating the sun’s natural light. The high ceilings allow cool air to flow through the open doorway – and the oak floors showed off its sheen. The elegant stairs is flanked by hand-turned balustrades. The porch – or verandah – is as broad as it is deep. One could almost see large comfortable settees gracing this area during those years of occupancy by the officers.
